BANGOR Business Awards are set to return in 2026, bigger and better than ever, with leading local employer and business champion The Fusco Group confirmed as main sponsor for another year.
Celebrating excellence, innovation and entrepreneurial spirit across Bangor and North Down, the prestigious awards will bring together the region’s business community for an evening dedicated to recognising the organisations and individuals driving economic growth, creating employment and enhancing the local area.
Hosted at the Clandeboye Lodge Hotel, Bangor Business Awards have become one of the most anticipated events in the local business calendar. Now entering their 24th year, the awards continue to showcase the achievements of businesses of every size, from ambitious start-ups and independent retailers to established companies making a significant impact across Northern Ireland.

The Mayor of Ards and North Down, Craig Blaney, officially launched this year’s awards in Bangor Castle on Tuesday.
“Bangor has long been recognised as a fantastic place to live, work and visit, but what truly sets our city apart is its people and its businesses,” he said.
“From long-established local companies and family-run enterprises to ambitious start-ups and innovators, Bangor is home to a vibrant and diverse business community. These businesses are at the heart of our local economy, creating jobs, driving innovation and helping our city thrive.

Nominations will open later this year, inviting businesses to showcase their achievements and recognise colleagues, teams and organisations that have made a significant impact over the past 12 months.
The awards evening will feature a drinks reception, fine dining, live entertainment and networking opportunities, creating a fitting celebration of the businesses that continue to drive Bangor forward.
Applications will open on September 1st, with businesses encouraged to nominate themselves or recognise organisations and individuals who have gone above and beyond in supporting Bangor’s economy and community.
The awards gala will feature a welcome reception, fine dining, live entertainment and invaluable networking opportunities, bringing together business leaders, entrepreneurs, public representatives and community stakeholders from across the region.
