A GYMNASTICS coach from Bangor has earned national recognition for fostering the growth of gymnastics across Northern Ireland.Shireen Moore, of Rathgael Gymnastics and Tumbling Club, has been nominated for the Lifetime Contribution prize at the British Gymnastics Awards, in large part due to ensuring everyone has equal access to all gymnastics has to offer.And after seeing her name on the final shortlist, Shireen didn’t hesitate to pay tribute to everyone back home who helped make it happen.“I am absolutely overwhelmed and thankful to be nominated for this award,” she said. “I only hope over the years I have inspired and encouraged the love of gymnastics that I have, to everyone that has participated in the gym.
