BANGOR FC have confirmed suspended striker Ben Arthurs will return to action following the completion of their internal review.
Arthurs was suspended as a result of a disciplinary matter back in April and did not feature in the club’s final six games of the Irish Premiership season.
The Bangor talisman has spent eight seasons at Clandeboye Park, firing his side to promotions from both the Ballymena & Provincial League and the NIFL Championship.
He helped the Seasiders secure Premiership survival after they ended a 16-year wait for a return to top-flight football in 2024/25 and signed a new three-year deal at the beginning of the 2025/26 season, scoring 10 goals in the same campaign.
There has been doubts over whether Arthurs would feature for the club again, but any uncertainty was put to bed when Bangor released a statement on Monday morning.
The announcement read: “Following our previous statement on April 20th, the club has now completed its internal review into this matter.
“We can confirm that Ben Arthurs will be returning to pre-season training.
“We won’t be making any further comment on this matter.”
