BANGOR Rugby Club’s P7 Minis team enjoyed a highly successful tour to Scotland last weekend.

The eagerly anticipated trip saw 26 enthusiastic young players embark on a journey filled with competitive rugby, team spirit, and unforgettable memories.

A highlight of the tour was a round-robin style festival, where Bangor P7s competed against several Scottish youth teams for a chance to play during half-time at the Glasgow Warriors vs Bulls game on Friday, April 25. The team was lucky enough to take to the field, experiencing the thrill of playing in front of a large crowd at one of Scotland’s premier rugby venues – home of the 2024 URC champions – creating memories that will last a lifetime.

The tour also included participation in a club festival in Livingston, where the team faced strong opposition from local sides, further enriching their rugby development and forming new friendships along the way.

Head coach Richard Coghlin expressed pride in the team’s hard work and dedication, adding that the players represented Bangor with pride and determination.

The team extends heartfelt thanks to parents, sponsors, Bangor Rugby Club, and the entire Bangor Minis community, whose generous support made the tour possible.

Special thanks go to the tour’s main sponsors: Underground Dining , Danielle Strain Hairdressing, Ultrasound NI and Lightfoot Kitchen and Deli.
