A BANGOR primary school pupil will showcase his skills in front of thousands at an indoor motocross extravaganza this weekend.

Seven-year-old Noah Barr, a pupil at Kilmaine Primary School, has been selected to compete against the UK’s top young riders as they battle it out for championship points at the Arenacross World Tour 2026.

The high-octane event promises three hours of ‘non-stop’ entertainment, featuring freestyle displays, thrilling races and an electric atmosphere. Up to 15,000 people will take in the action across three rounds of the tour.

Noah has already taken part in the tour’s opening round, held at the BP Pulse Arena in Birmingham on January 31. He’s now gearing up for rounds two and three at Belfast’s SSE Arena on February 13 and 14.

Noah’s proud mum, Connie, explained that although he has been riding trials bikes since the age of four, he only began motocross racing less than a year ago, and finished 17th at the Ulster Youth Championships.

“We used to go and watch Arenacross every year and now Noah is getting to take part himself,” she said.

“He’s got no interest in anything else.

“It is his passion, he just lives and breathes it and he wants to become a professional motocross rider in the future.”
