A BANGOR woman has retired from the South Eastern Trust after dedicating an incredible 45 years of service as a ward clerk supporting patients, families and colleagues across maternity and paediatric wards.
Throughout her career, Anne Reynolds-Walls became a familiar and reassuring presence to generations of parents, children and staff. Her professionalism, warmth and unwavering commitment helped ensure the smooth running of busy hospital wards while providing a friendly welcome to everyone who came through the doors.
Reflecting on her retirement, Anne said: “It has been a privilege to spend my career working in the Trust. I have been fortunate to work alongside so many wonderful colleagues and to meet countless patients and families over the years. I have made lifelong friendships and have so many happy memories that I will always treasure. While I will miss the people, I am looking forward to spending more time with my family and enjoying the next chapter.”
Paying tribute to Anne’s remarkable contribution, paediatric operational manager Tracey Erskine stated: “Anne has been an exceptional member of our team for 45 years. Her dedication, compassion and commitment have made a lasting difference to patients, families and colleagues. She has been a constant source of support, knowledge and kindness and her presence will be greatly missed.
