A YOUNG Bangor girl has donated 13 inches of her lovely locks to The Little Princess Trust. Elle Frost decided to have 13 inches chopped off her hair on Tuesday, to be donated to the Trust which makes wigs for children who have lost their hair due to illness. The seven year-old decided to keep growing her hair to donate as much as possible after seeing someone else donating their hair to the charity last year.Elle’s mum Sarah explained Elle has always had long hair. “Elle has had long hair since she was a toddler but always just gets it trimmed,” she said.“She just decided she didn’t want to get it trimmed after we saw someone getting their hair cut and donating it to The Little Princess Trust. “ She wanted to raise as much as possible as well and she’s raised over £780.”Sarah said the family is ‘so proud’ of Elle and wishes to offer their thanks to the hairdressers who did the cut as well.“Elle is the most kind, loving girl I’ve ever known. She’s always going out of her way to do things for other people and I think this is another mark of how selfless she is, wanting to help others,” she said.“Thank you to Kevin Kahan hairdressers for their support and for doing the haircut.”If anyone would like to donate, go to https://www.justgiving.com/page/sarah-frost-1733745351671.
