BANGOR manager Lee Feeney has issued a rallying call to Seasiders supporters to turn out in big numbers ahead of four pivotal home matches at Clandeboye Park.
Bangor welcome Cliftonville and Ballymena to north Down before the new year, before home match-ups against Portadown and Coleraine on January 17 and January 31st respectively.
Mr Feeney said: “I’m making a direct appeal to everyone connected with Bangor FC. We need you at Clandeboye Park in big numbers over these next four home matches.
“This is a crucial period for the club, and we need our supporters to come out in force and back the team during the Christmas period and throughout January.”
Paying tribute to the ‘fantastic support’ his side have received all season, he added: “Now we are asking our fans to step up even more. Get your tickets, bring your friends and family, spread the word and help us pack out Clandeboye Park.
“The more fans we have backing us, the stronger we are as a team. These home matches are massive for us this season,” said Feeney.
“Our supporters have been incredible throughout this campaign, and I know they understand what these matches mean to the club. This period can help set us up for a positive final push in our Premiership season.”
The Seasiders chief stressed the importance of a vocal Clandeboye Park and described the atmosphere created by the fans as ‘second to none’.
“It genuinely makes a difference to the players on the pitch,” he said.
“When the stands are full and the fans are behind us, it lifts the entire team. The players feed off that energy, it drives them forward and gives them that extra push when they need it most.
“We need that backing more than ever over these next four home games.
“We never take our support for granted and we appreciate every single person who spends their hard-earned money to back this club.
“Let’s continue to make Clandeboye Park a venue where opposition teams know they are in for a real battle.”
