TALENTED Newtownards singer/songwriter Melissa Brown will be one of the highlights at the Donaghadee Summer Festival artisan market on Sunday, August 25.
The event, which will feature many intriguing and enticing stalls, will take place at Lemon’s Wharf from 11am until 5pm.
Carol Day who coordinates the market on behalf of the Donaghadee Community Association has highlighted the wide variety of stall offerings.
“We have 25 stalls featuring such foodstuffs as products from a sourdough bakery and homemade sauces,” she said.
“We also have a skilled chocolatier and also some of our Donaghadee favourites such as our artists’ paintings and their intricate woodwork, natural beauty products and soap makers using local ingredients. Pet enthusiasts will even be able to buy doggie treats.

”Artisan markets are an important outlet as they offer a commercial opportunity for artists to show off their craft skills and handiwork and handmade jewellery and for food enthusiasts to showcase a variety of food and confectionery delicacies. There’s something for everyone, children and parents alike.” says Carol.
