BANGOR rider Andrew McAllister made a welcome return to the road racing scene last weekend. McAllister was involved in a serious accident at Kirkistown last year. His serious injuries ruled him out for almost a year. The Bangor man made a welcome return to the racing scene last weekend, when he competed at Kells in County Meath. Tragically, the meeting was cut short when Limavady rider Jack Oliver was killed in the 600cc race. Oliver’s death comes in the same month that saw Saintfield rider Davy Morgan, Mark Purslow, Cesar Chanel and the father-and-son sidecar duo of Roger and Bradley Stockton killed at the Isle of Man TT.
