THE shortlist has been revealed for this year’s Bangor Business Awards.
Organised to celebrate the outstanding achievements, innovation and dedication of local businesses, the awards recognise the best of Bangor’s entrepreneurial spirit and community impact.
This year’s awards have attracted an exceptional standard of entries across a wide range of sectors. From emerging start-ups to long-established enterprises, the shortlist reflects the passion, creativity, and resilience that continue to drive Bangor forward as a dynamic place to do business.
The winners will be unveiled at a prestigious awards ceremony on November 6, bringing together business leaders, innovators and community champions for an evening of celebration and recognition.
Bangor Chamber chairperson Frank Shivers said the calibre of entries this year has been phenomenal.
“Bangor businesses have once again demonstrated their innovation, resilience and strong commitment to the local community,” he said. “These awards are about celebrating that success and recognising the people and organisations that make Bangor a fantastic place to live, work and visit.”
Johnathan Fusco, managing director of The Fusco Group, said: “This year’s finalists show exactly what makes Bangor such a strong place to do business – ambition, resilience, and the drive to keep moving forward when others slow down.
“Every business shortlisted proves that Bangor is not standing still, it’s building momentum. The future here belongs to those who back themselves and keep pushing,” he said.
Mayor of Ards and North Down, Gillian McCollum, said Bangor Business Awards not only celebrate excellence and innovation but also serve as a reminder of the importance of shopping local, investing in local talent and championing the businesses that make the Borough unique.
“Ards and North Down Borough Council is proud to support initiatives that help businesses grow, create jobs and contribute to the vibrancy of our borough,” she said. “I congratulate all the finalists and encourage residents to show their support, not just at the awards, but every day.”
The Bangor Business Awards 2025 promise to be a highlight in the city’s calendar, shining a light on the exceptional talent and enterprise that underpin Bangor’s continued success.
