THE Ulster Orchestra has led tributes to popular Bangor jazz musician Martin Wilson, who has died suddenly after a short illness.
Known to friends as Marty, the Scottish born musician was principal trombone for the Ulster Orchestra from 1989 to 2022 and was described as having left ‘an indelible mark on Northern Ireland’s musical community and beyond’.
