EXCITEMENT is building for the upcoming RS400 Eurocup and UK/Irish Nationals at Royal North of Ireland Yacht Club.
The event starts in just 17 days and preparations are well underway for this much anticipated Championships, with Royal North this week taking delivery of the silverware.
Some local sailors, fresh from the Dún Laoghaire Regatta, are getting their 400s up to scratch ready for this battle of the titans against their English, Scottish and European counterparts.
Event director, Gerry Reid said: “We are delighted with the trophies and the kind support from Mercedes Benz Belfast. There is a real buzz about the club as we prepare for the Eurocup and look forward to welcoming visitors far and wide, as well as many old friends returning to Belfast Lough for this event.”
Entries are still open for those who fancy their chances, and a bit of the legendary Royal North hospitality.
