After more than a century on Bangor’s Main Street, Neill Estate Agents is entering a new phase following its acquisition by Victoria Pinkerton.
The deal brings together one of the town’s longest established property businesses with a well-established local estate agency, marking a signi cant moment in the area’s property sector.
Neill Estate Agents has been a longstanding presence in Bangor and across the wider Ards & North Down area, with a reputation built on local knowledge and continuity of service. That continuity has been a central focus of the transition, with the Neill team moving across to Victoria Pinkerton. Clients will continue to deal with familiar faces, while Tom Drumgoole remains involved in a consultancy role.
Victoria Pinkerton, formerly known as Pinkertons, has operated across Ards & North Down for more than 20 years. Since rebranding in early 2025, the business has continued to expand, combining established client relationships with a modern approach to property marketing and service delivery.
Commenting on the acquisition, Victoria Pinkerton said the move was about “building on what already exists,” adding that Neill Estate Agents “has been part of the fabric of this community for over a century.”
As part of the transition, the Neill of ce on Main Street will close temporarily for refurbishment. During this period, clients will be supported from the existing Victoria Pinkerton Bangor of ce at 125 Main Street, with plans to reopen at 100 Main Street in late May 2026 as the company’s new Head Of ce.
The acquisition strengthens the presence of Victoria Pinkerton across residential and commercial sales, lettings and property management, while maintaining the long-established Neill name within the local property landscape.
