BANGOR travel to the Dub on Saturday (3pm) and Fortwilliam Park on Easter Tuesday (3pm) for a double header which rounds off the first part of the Premier Intermediate League campaign.
After that, the division splits into top and bottom sections with each team playing five more games to determine the final standings.
For the Seasiders, that means that regardless of results elsewhere, 10 points from their remaining seven fixtures will be enough to seal the Premier Intermediate League title.
While potential glory may not seem far away, Lee Feeney is making sure that his men remain fully focussed on the task at hand, starting with Saturday’s trip to south Belfast.
“Saturday’s result and performance against Queen’s will remind the boys that nothing can be taken for granted and we need to up our performance for the remaining games.
“We know what is ahead of us and what we have to do, but we must get past PSNI first this weekend,” he said.
“I thought we looked quite leggy and tired across the pitch last Saturday. Some of them have maybe played too much football recently and were a bit fatigued, so we will take that into consideration with how we train this week.
“The boys have been absolutely first class up until now. I couldn’t fault them with their efforts but we just need to keep things fresh. With games coming thick and fast we’ll look at utilising the squad.”

While Bangor will be looking for maximum points to move one step closer to a league title, PSNI will be fighting hard to avoid falling out of the NI Football League.
The Police are six points adrift at the foot of the table with seven games remaining. Glenn Taggart’s side looked certain for relegation a month ago but three wins – their only victories of the season – in their last five outings have breathed life into their campaign.
The basement side, who have a number of former Bangor players in their ranks including Louis Blackstock, Ben Roy, and Tony Tumelty will be buoyed having fought back with three second half goals on Tuesday night to bag a remarkable comeback victory over Banbridge Town.
Just three days after Saturday’s encounter, Bangor will then face Moyola Park at Fortwilliam Park. The Castledawson side have vacated their usual Mill Meadow home and are ground-sharing with Tobermore United while their pitch undergoes improvement works.
But despite having no home comforts, Stephen Hughes’ men have secured their place in the top six ahead of the split thanks to three wins and a draw from their last five outings.
